In late 2011 Nadiadwala announced his intention to remake the film Kick which he decided to direct after Shirish Kunder and Kabir Khan backed out to direct. Nadiadwala received an invitation from the Korea Tourism Organization, and after his team visited South Korea in September 2011, he signed an agreement to shoot portions of this project and others in that country.Salman Khan has signed on to act in the film, now to be directed by Sajid Nadiadwala . On October 26, 2012, Chetan Bhagat was announced to be screenwriter of Kick, and Rajat Arora would write the dialogues. It is remake of Telugu hit movie kick starring Raviteja and Ileana D'souza.

Sajid Nadiadwala is hiring services of foreign action directors for Kick and would be filming in Korea
